Week 2 NFL Office Pool Picks
Week 2 is here, and after a strong start last week, it’s time to line up the straight-up winners in order of confidence. In office pools and pick’em contests, the key isn’t just getting the winners right — it’s ranking them correctly. That’s how you separate yourself from the pack and take control of the standings.
Here’s how I see the board this week, from the rock-solid locks all the way down to the risky toss-ups.
16 pts – Ravens over Browns
Baltimore is my anchor pick. The Ravens have owned this matchup, going 14-3 in their last 17 home games against Cleveland. After dropping their opener to Buffalo, they’ll be locked in for their home debut. This is as safe as it gets in Week 2.
15 pts – Cowboys over Giants
Dallas has dominated New York, winning eight straight in the series. The Cowboys’ defense should control this game, and the Giants don’t have the weapons to flip the script.
14 pts – Rams over Titans
The Titans are in freefall, while the Rams look sharp and balanced on both sides of the ball. Until Tennessee shows life, they’re a fade in this spot.
13 pts – Bills over Jets
Buffalo has won eight of their last ten against the Jets, and Josh Allen continues to be a mismatch. The Bills are too explosive for New York to keep pace.
12 pts – Cardinals over Panthers
Carolina has been dreadful on the road, losing 16 of their last 18 away from home. Arizona has the better roster and the stronger trends.
11 pts – Lions over Bears
Detroit has momentum, Chicago doesn’t. The Lions are on a 14-3 run straight up and should keep rolling against a struggling Bears squad.
10 pts – Packers over Commanders
Lambeau Field is still one of the toughest road spots in the league, and Green Bay usually finds a way to handle Washington at home.
9 pts – 49ers over Saints
Both teams have issues, but San Francisco has the deeper roster and should do enough to grab a road win.
8 pts – Chargers over Raiders
Division matchups are always tricky, but the Chargers have more talent and more ways to win. The Raiders simply can’t match the firepower.
7 pts – Bengals over Jaguars
Cincinnati has momentum on its side, while Jacksonville’s road struggles continue. The Bengals should keep their win streak alive.
6 pts – Vikings over Falcons
Minnesota is a different team at home, and the Falcons have been one of the league’s most unreliable picks. Vikings get the nod here.
5 pts – Dolphins over Patriots
Miami has owned New England at home, winning five straight in this spot. I’ll stick with the Dolphins until the Pats prove they can flip the script.
4 pts – Steelers over Seahawks
This one’s a grinder. Pittsburgh’s home edge makes the difference, but don’t be surprised if it comes down to the final possession.
3 pts – Texans over Buccaneers
Not the prettiest matchup on the slate, but Houston’s recent home form tips the balance. Low confidence, but still a lean toward the Texans.
2 pts – Chiefs over Eagles
Kansas City is nearly unbeatable at home, but Philly is one of the few teams that can go toe-to-toe with them. This is close to a coin flip, which is why it’s near the bottom.
1 pt – Colts over Broncos
Total toss-up. The Colts’ home-field advantage just barely gives them the edge, but this is the pick I’m least confident in for Week 2.
Final Thoughts
The top tier — Ravens, Cowboys, Rams, and Bills — are the kind of picks you can build a week around. Those should be your anchors in survivor pools and office contests. The middle tier has some solid value plays like the Lions and Packers, while the bottom of the board (Steelers, Texans, Colts) are where pools are won or lost.
Confidence rankings are all about balance: play it safe at the top, and take your calculated risks at the bottom. After a strong Week 1, we’re lined up for another run in Week 2.
This is Coach Bob — let’s keep stacking wins.
