Last week we went 9 and 5, putting up 68 points and holding onto 4th place in the standings with 772 total. Not a bad week, but the goal’s always to build momentum and climb the leaderboard. Let’s get right into this week’s matchups.
Safest Picks (Top Tier)
The Denver Broncos headline the board with a defense that’s been among the league’s best all season, especially on third down. They face a Raiders offense that ranks near the bottom in every major category. Buffalo is right behind them with one of the top three total offenses and a strong rushing attack, facing a Miami defense that’s been inconsistent. Seattle earns the third spot with the best rush defense in football and a long winning streak over Arizona. The Colts are next—they lead the league in scoring and control the ground game better than most teams. Carolina rounds out the top tier, winning the time of possession battle consistently and facing a Saints team that’s been struggling to score points.
Solid Picks (Middle Tier)
Detroit sits in the next group thanks to their dominance in the trenches. Washington’s defense has been soft against the run, and the Lions should control the clock. Chicago gets the nod with the Giants winless on the road and unable to stop the run. Baltimore is the better all-around team, but Minnesota’s home edge makes it interesting. The Chargers have one of the league’s best third-down offenses and can move the ball efficiently at home. Tampa Bay stays in the mix, playing disciplined football with a balanced offense and an improving defense.
