Survivor pools are all about balance—finding the safest pick each week without burning through your biggest guns too early. It’s not just about picking winners, it’s about mapping the season, avoiding traps, and staying alive while the pool thins out.
Here are three of my top Survivor Pool picks for Week 4:
Buffalo over Saints
The Bills bring the league’s number one offense at 420 yards per game and haven’t lost at home in twelve straight. New Orleans is struggling on offense, ranking 19th overall, and just doesn’t have the firepower to keep up. Buffalo is as safe as it gets.
Detroit over Browns
Detroit ranks 3rd in total offense with 13 touchdowns already on the season. Cleveland’s defense is tough, but their offense ranks just 22nd, averaging under 300 yards a game. The Lions are balanced, at home, and rolling—everything you want in a survivor play.
Green Bay over Dallas
The Packers have won five straight against Dallas and come in with the 3rd-ranked defense in the league. The Cowboys may have a top-5 offense, but their defense sits at 30th, making them vulnerable. Green Bay is the steadier side.
